The Makita 2012NB is a compact, high‑precision planer and thicknesser, designed for professional woodworking and demanding workshop use. It is ideal for dimensioning and surface finishing of solid and laminated timber, delivering excellent cutting quality. 

Powered by a 1650 W motor, the cutter head runs at 8,500 rpm, ensuring smooth and consistent results. The machine offers a maximum planing width of 304 mm, with adjustable cutting depth depending on material width:

• up to 3.0 mm for narrower boards
• up to 1.5 mm for wider boards

A feed rate of 8.5 m/min ensures efficient material throughput with a high‑quality finish.
