The Makita UR016GZ is a professional 40Vmax XGT cordless grass trimmer designed for efficient grass trimming and light brush clearing. It features a brushless motor delivering up to 600 W of maximum output, comparable to a 23 cc petrol engine, while offering quieter operation, reduced vibration and zero emissions. 

With three electronic speed settings (3,500/ 5,300/ 6,500 min⁻¹) and ADT (Automatic Torque Drive Technology), the trimmer automatically adjusts torque for optimal performance under varying loads. A 330 mm cutting width with a nylon line ensures fast and even cutting, while the balanced design and bike‑style U‑handle provide excellent handling comfort. 

For safety and durability, the UR016GZ includes AFT, XPT (IPX4) protection, an electric brake, and reverse rotation for easy removal of tangled grass and debris. 

Bare tool version (GZ) – battery and charger are not included. Compatible with Makita 40Vmax XGT batteries.
