The Makita DG002GZ is a professional‑grade cordless earth auger powered by the XGT® 40Vmax platform, designed for heavy‑duty drilling tasks in sandy and clay soils. It is ideal for drilling holes for fence posts, foundations and landscaping applications. 

The tool features a brushless motor with a 2‑speed gearbox, delivering 55 Nm in high‑speed mode (0–1,500 min⁻¹) and up to 136 Nm in low‑speed, high‑torque mode (0–400 min⁻¹). This ensures efficient drilling performance even in compact ground conditions. Maximum drilling capacity is up to 200 mm, depending on soil type and auger size.
