PENOSIL AquaBrake Fabric 435 is a reinforcement fabric designed for hydro-insulating walls and floors in wet and humid areas such as:

• Bathrooms
• Saunas
• Kitchens
• Balconies
• Terraces

It enhances the performance of waterproof sealants and mastics, making it ideal for use before tiling and other finishing works.

Applications:

• Sealing and reinforcing:

         Floor drains

         Wall and floor joints

         Pipe penetrations

Installation Instructions:

• Cut the fabric to the required size, allowing 5–7 cm overlap at edges if needed.
• Apply the first layer of Penosil AquaBrake Fiber 640 mastic.
• Press the fabric tightly into the fresh mastic using a putty trowel, avoiding air bubbles.
• Cover with a second layer of mastic, ensuring full immersion.

Special Reinforcement Guidelines:

• Corners: Use at least a 20 cm wide strip.
• Joints: Use at least a 10 cm wide strip.
• Floor traps: Use fabric at least 3× the diameter of the opening, preferably in two layers.
• Pipe penetrations: Cut fabric with a diameter 3× larger than the pipe. Make a hole 4–5 mm smaller than the pipe diameter so the fabric overlaps the pipe by 3–5 mm.

Surface Preparation:

• Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of dust, loose particles, and oil.
• Prime concrete, cement, and plaster surfaces with PENOSIL BetPrimer 603 before applying.
