PENOSIL AquaBrake Fabric 435 is a polyester-based reinforcement fabric designed for hydro-insulating walls and floors in wet and humid areas such as:

• Bathrooms

It enhances the performance of waterproofing mastics and sealants, ensuring a watertight and flexible sealing layer that bridges cracks and prevents moisture penetration.

Installation Instructions:

• Cut the fabric to the required size, allowing 5–7 cm overlap at edges.
• Apply the first layer of Penosil AquaBrake Fiber 640 mastic.
• Press the fabric into the fresh mastic using a putty trowel, avoiding air bubbles.
• Cover with a second layer of mastic, ensuring full immersion.

Special Reinforcement Guidelines:

• Corners: Use at least a 20 cm wide strip.
• Joints: Use at least a 10 cm wide strip.
• Floor traps: Use fabric at least 3× the diameter of the opening, preferably in two layers.
• Pipe penetrations: Cut fabric with a diameter 3× larger than the pipe. Make a hole 4–5 mm smaller than the pipe diameter so the fabric overlaps the pipe by 3–5 mm.

Surface Preparation:

• Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of dust, loose particles, and oil residues.
• Prime concrete, cement, and plaster surfaces with PENOSIL BetPrimer 603.

Usage Instructions:

• Shake the foam can vigorously at least 20 times.
• Attach the can upright to the gun.
• Hold the can upside down when extruding foam.
• Adjust foam output using the trigger and screw.
• Clean immediately after use with Penosil Foam Cleaner 929.
• Foam can be reused within 14 days if left attached to the gun.

Important Notes:

• Only use with compatible PU foam products.
• Do not bend, drop, or place heavy objects on the gun.
• Avoid screwing the can with the valve upside down.
• Clean the applicator tip after every use to prevent clogging.
