They are characterised by a robust leather upper made of extruded split leather, knitted mesh lining and PU sole. In addition, they are equipped with EVA foam, a metal toecap and a metal anti-puncture insole. NEO welding shoes are made in the S1P SRC category, which means their resistance to slipping on ceramic ground covered with sodium lauryl sulphate solution (SLS) and on steel ground covered with glycerol. The toe cap additionally provides protection against impacts with an energy equivalent to 200 J. In turn, the sole protects against punctures and against oil, petrol and other organic solvents.
