The Makita DTR180ZJ is a professional cordless rebar tying tool designed for fast and consistent tying of reinforcing bars in concrete construction, foundations and reinforcement mesh installation. It significantly improves productivity compared to manual tying and allows one‑handed operation, leaving the other hand free for positioning the rebar.

The tool is compatible with both 14.4 V and 18 V Makita LXT batteries and features a brushless motor for high efficiency, longer service life and stable performance during continuous operation. The tying strength can be adjusted in six steps to suit different materials and applications. 

It is designed for Ø 0.8 mm tying wire and supports a wide range of rebar combinations, from D10 × D10 up to (D13 × 2) × (D13 × 2). XPT (Extreme Protection Technology) ensures improved resistance to dust and moisture, making the tool suitable for harsh construction environments. 

The tool is supplied in a Makpac case for safe storage and transport.

The Makita TR001GZ is a high‑performance professional cordless rebar tying tool designed for heavy‑duty concrete and reinforcement work. It is part of the Makita XGT® 40V system and uses Ø 1.6 mm annealed steel tie wire, delivering significantly stronger ties compared to conventional 18V rebar tying tools. 

The tool features dual brushless motors – one dedicated to wire feeding and the other to wire twisting – ensuring high tying speed, superior tying strength and stable operation even with thick rebar combinations. The tying speed is as fast as 0.7 seconds per tie, and the tying strength can be adjusted in six stages to suit various applications. 

It supports a wide range of rebar combinations, from smaller intersections up to four Ø 16 mm rebars in a single tie. The wire pull‑back mechanism ensures tight, secure knots while reducing wire consumption. 

The tool is equipped with XPT (Extreme Protection Technology) for improved resistance against dust and moisture, making it suitable for harsh job‑site environments.
