The Makita UR002GZ01 is a professional‑grade XGT® cordless grass trimmer powered by a 40Vmax XGT Li‑ion battery system. It features a Makita‑built outer‑rotor brushless motor, delivering high torque and efficient cutting performance across the entire speed range. 

The trimmer offers three electronic speed settings (3,500/ 5,300/ 6,500 min⁻¹) combined with ADT (Automatic Torque Drive Technology), which automatically adjusts torque and speed under load to optimize performance and runtime. A 350 mm cutting width with a nylon line head ensures fast and consistent cutting over larger areas. 

For enhanced safety and durability, the UR002GZ01 includes AFT, XPT / IPX4 water‑ and dust‑resistance, an electric brake, and reverse rotation for easy clearing of tangled grass and weeds. The bike‑style U‑handle improves control and ergonomics during prolonged use. 

Tool‑only version (GZ01) – battery and charger are not included.
