The Makita UX01GZ is a professional‑grade 40Vmax XGT® cordless multi‑function power head, designed to drive a wide range of Makita split‑shaft attachments such as grass trimmers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers, pole saws and edgers (attachments sold separately). It runs on the 40Vmax XGT Li‑ion battery platform and delivers outstanding versatility for demanding outdoor applications. 

A powerful brushless motor delivers up to 1,000 W maximum output, comparable to a 30 cc petrol engine. The 3‑stage electronic speed selection with variable‑speed trigger control provides optimal performance for different attachments, with a maximum no‑load speed of up to 9,700 min⁻¹.

For safety and durability, the UX01GZ features AFT, XPT / IPX4 water‑ and dust‑resistant construction, an electric brake, and a tool‑less split‑shaft coupling for fast attachment changes.
