The 40 mm bi-metal hole saw 56T709 by GRAPHITE, with a height of 44 mm, allows drilling to a depth of 38 mm. It is made from HSS high speed steel and is fitted with a 5/8'' x 18 UNF thread. It is designed to work in metal, stainless steel (Inox), cast iron, brass, aluminium and wood. The GRAPHITE hole saw is recommended to be used with the 56T754 adapter with pilot drill bit for bi-metal holesaws in the 32-152 mm range. Maximum speeds for this tool, vary depending on the material: steel - 220 rpm, Inox steel - 110 rpm, aluminium - 330 rpm, wood - 290 rpm, cast iron - 145 rpm, brass - 290 rpm. The bi-metal hole saw is designed for use with a drill or drill/driver.

It has 40 teeth, the cut width is 2 mm and the tooth angle is 15°. The maximum speed is 10,000 rpm. It is characterised by a fast cutting type. The saw blade complies with EN 847-1 and includes 30/25.4 mm, 30/20 mm and 30/16 mm reduction rings.
