The Bernardo LBM 220 is a heavy‑duty professional mortising and slot boring machine designed for precision woodworking, including mortise‑and‑tenon joints, elongated holes, slot drilling and row drilling operations. It is widely used in furniture manufacturing, door and window production, stair building and professional woodworking workshops.

The machine is built on a torsion‑free steel construction and equipped with a large precision‑ground grey cast‑iron table, ensuring vibration‑free operation and high accuracy even when machining large workpieces. Standard table extensions and widenings allow easy processing of long and oversized components such as doors and panels.

The travelling drill unit, combined with one‑hand operated cross support, enables smooth, accurate positioning of the tool during operation. The machine features two spindle speeds (1400 / 2800 rpm) as well as right‑ and left‑hand rotation, providing excellent flexibility for drilling and mortising tasks.

The powerful motor delivers 4.2 kW input power (S6 40%), ensuring reliable performance even under continuous load.

The LBM 220 is also equipped with a dowel drilling unit with spacing of 16 / 20 / 22 / 25 mm, making it ideal for series drilling applications. Standard equipment includes a Westcott 0–20 mm drill chuck, eccentric hold‑down clamps and an adjustable mitre fence.
